Manuela Beta – Hot Cell

Manuela Beta is a hot cell with plexiglas and lead shielding on all sides. It has been designed for the manipulation of high energy Beta Isotopes (90Y),but it can be used also with medium energy Gamma Emitting Isotopes (131I).

  • Nr. 2 power supply sockets
  • Inlet air filtered through absolute filters
  • Outlet air filtered through active carbon filter
  • Shielded compartment for dose calibrator, equipped with pneumatic elevator
  • Manometer for internal pressure control
  • Calibrator elevator with pneumtic movement
  • Laminar flow operation fan
  • Laminar Flow re-circulation system  (Class A)
