MIP Shielded boxes for Research Activities

The series of MIP hot cells are specially designed for research purposes and/or to house various radiochemistry modules. The MIP cells, single or double, are available in 2 sizes:1100 mm and 1390 mm (work chamber width). Other possible configurations are: rear door, motorized or hinged door and several accessories.

ISS – Internal Sliding Body Shield

This additional front protection is specially designed to protect the operator during manual operations, when the motorized door is open. It consists of a shielded s/s frame with a 30 mm lead equivalent window and a rail system. When not in use it is stowed out of the way at an inside corner of the box.

ITD – Internal Transfer Door for MIP double hot cells

This is a motorized interconnection door,with vertical motion on guides and with an inflatable gasket to guarantee an airtight seal. The operator controls the inflation of the gasket by use of a selector push-button.

ELD – Lateral Transfer Door

This is a manually opened door with horizontal motion on guides and with an inflatable gasket to guarantee an airtight seal. The operator controls the inflation of the gasket by use of a selector valve.

TALETE – HC- Dose Calibrator

TALETE is a new conception radionuclide Dose Calibrator, designed to comply with the latest regulations and to offer state-of-the-art performances. Due to the new-design electrometer board and application software, it provides fast and accurate radionuclides sample measurements. TALETE has on-board programmed diagnostic functions, such as zero, background adjustment and HV measurement, together with a full set of quality control routines, making it an ideal instrument for Nuclear Medicine departments and PET facilities.
