BBS Shielded Boxes for Synthesis Modules

The series of BBS shielding for synthesis modules is specially designed to contain the automatic modules dedicated to routine production. The BBS cell, single or double (lined horizontally or vertically), triple and also quadruple, can have different configurations basing on the overall measurements, the shielding and the various accessories.

The cell is equipped with a shielded front compartment, where a shielded container housing a vial can be placed. In this way it is possible to remove the radiopharmaceutical without opening the main door. Shielding of front compartment: Pb. 30 mm on all sides. The radiopharmaceutical can also be sent directly from the synthesis module to the dispensing cell system via shielded tubing.

Each working chamber is equipped with:

• sealed wall passages for pass through of cables and tubing
• electrical sockets
• radiofluids inlets
• technical gas inlets
• storage compartments are available on all models.
