Lab Furniture

Comecer produces a wide range of furnishings in which the common characteristic is the high decontaminability associated to a considerable mechanical and chemical resistance of the materials used, the ergonomics, the safety and the low exposure of the operator to contaminated products.

Main specification:

  • The structure and the working surfaces of the furnishings are wholly realized in stainless steel AISI 304 superficial finish apted to assure the full decontaminability.
  • Furthermore, these materials guarantee the unalterability against the most common corrosive compounds used in Radiochemical Laboratories.
  • Supporting basis are constructed with self-levelling feet made in anti-corrosive plastic material, provided with adjustment through screw device.
  • All the equipment including components and accessories of COMECER’s furnitures is realized with modular parts replaceable or integrable in every moment.
  • The furnitures are produced with materials and technologies complying with the main standards in force.

Working surfaces

They are fully realized in AISI 304 stainless steel superficial finish apted to consent the whole decontaminability (radiated corners so as to avoid the pile of contaminated material). Through folding process, on the whole lateral perimeter COMECER realizes a raised edge having containment function and, on the rear side, a raising for the electrical and hydraulic installations is obtained so as to make just one only thing with the surface. In the inner part, the working benches have a fire-retardant structure having stiffening and radioprotection functions, since the same structure is provides with a lead hollow space. Weldings are made in inactive atmosphere grinded and glazed finished.
