Leonardo hand-feet-clothes monitor is an instrument expressely produced for checking environmental contamination in Nuclear Medicine – PET Deptartments.

Based on plastic scintillator detectors with integrated photomultiplier electronics: this configuration avoids potential safety problems linked to the use of gases and maximizes detectors efficiency. The system is ideal for high efficiency detection of both PET and traditional Nuclear Medicine gamma emitting radio-nuclides.

Dedicated fast counting  electronics and PC based data  acquisition system. There is  also a detachable hand probe for clothes contamination measurement.

Service functions for Quality control are also available. Audio messages are provided during measurements (selectable languages: Italian or English).
