Shielded Doors

Comecer is Italy’s leading manufacturer of shielded doors for bunkers. Lead, paraffin and/or polythene and cadmium shields are used. As an alternative, concrete shields that weigh from under 500 kg to over 300 tons can be employed. Our company policy is to guarantee overall safety at all times. Top priority is given to the safety devices the doors are equipped with. In addition, we make sure the shield fits perfectly into the wall and floor. Our highly trained technical staff is able to design the most suitable and cost-effective solution according to the floor plan supplied and thickness of the shielding required. Our range of motorized doors employ airtight systems (both shielded or non-shielded) for installation in bunkers or rooms where radioactive material is handled.
