Comecer has integrated Illuminate™ Manufacturing Intelligence (“Illuminate”) into its aseptic processing and containment equipment for pharmaceutical and nuclear medicine industries.
The Partnership provides Comecer customers with real-time visibility to the health of manufacturing systems, and a suite of advanced diagnostic and production management tools including event-triggered video capture and predictive maintenance.
Illuminate™ Manufacturing Intelligence, a division of ATS (ATA.TO) has partnered with Comecer (an ATS company) to accelerate digital transformation within the radiopharmaceutical and pharmaceutical equipment market. This will allow Comecer customers to reduce downtime, diagnosis and repair time, maximize throughput, lower reject rates, and decrease production waste while improving asset utilization.
“The pharmaceutical and radiopharmaceutical sector is also affected by the transformation and digitalization of its products and process,” said Antonio Caserta, Area Sales Manager Radiopharma at Comecer. “The spread of digital technology in the pharma manufacturing sector can no longer be defined as a passing phenomenon, but as a profound change in the paradigm of doing business.”
lluminate™ Manufacturing Intelligence is now available for Comecer isolators and turnkey production lines, providing critical information on the essential processes of the production activity in pharmaceutical and radiopharma laboratories, nuclear medicine plants, and Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products research centers.
“Illuminate™ Manufacturing Intelligence is already being used in pharmaceutical production facilities across the globe,” said Mike Tidy, General Manager, Digital Solutions at ATS. “Our new partnership with Comecer further strengthens our position in the life sciences market, and demonstrates the value we can provide OEMs like Comecer that are using data and data-driven tools to differentiate themselves and provide more value to customers.”
