Comecer Group changes the name of Veenstra Instruments to COMECER Netherlands

Castel Bolognese, Italy – 31 March 2014

Comecer Group, formed in 2012 after the acquisition of Veenstra Instruments and Czech Vitrae by Comecer SpA, announces that effective April 1, 2014, the company name Veenstra Instruments changes to COMECER Netherlands.

The Dutch company, founded in 1960, is a leader in radiation related safety, control & measurement. It combines this specific expertise with its own software design, mechanics and electronics, resulting in many unique products for nuclear medicine, radiochemistry, radio pharmacy and calibration laboratories. With a staff of 44 motivated people with excellent professional preparation, Comecer Netherlands remains based in in Joure, Friesland – The Netherlands.

Domenico Sainato continues as General Manager of Comecer Netherlands: “These changes are part of a restructuring operation designed to standardize and enhance the Comecer brand in the world. The new company name will also feature in the company’s logo that turns into Comecer Netherlands.”

“This evolution,” says Alessia Zanelli, CEO of Comecer Group ”is consistent with the group’s development plan that aims to become the world reference point for the production of high-tech systems in the field of nuclear medicine, isolation technology and nuclear power plant equipment, with the goal of continually increasing accuracy and safety for engineers, researchers and patients.”
