Comecer adopts the Model 231/2001

Following the entry into force of Legislative Decree no. 231/2001 that introduces requirements on administrative liability of legal persons, companies and associations, Comecer has adopted, with resolution of the Board of Directors on April 13, 2012, the Model of Organization, Management and Control.

The adoption of the Model 231/2001, not only allows the company to benefit from the exemption provided for by the Legislative Decree, but aims to raise awareness among all those who work in the name and on behalf of Comecer, as well as to improve corporate governance.

Among the features and essential elements of our organizational model there are:

  • A Code of Ethics
  • A reference to the system of corporate procedures and controls
  • A Disciplinary System to punish regulation infringements
  • The identification of a Supervisory Body

Based on this comprehensive set of documents, processes and control activities (preventive and reactive), the Model represents a key factor for a more conscious business risk management.
