Les portes SPI disposent d’un système opérationnel pneumatique COMECER, qui inclut un cylindre oléo-pneumatique.

La porte coulisse sur le sol, à une distance d’environ 5 mm et le joint anti-radiations dans la partie inférieure est garantie par un blindage spécialement conçu situé dans la base de la porte qui agit comme une sorte de labyrinthe entre la porte elle-même et le sol.
