RW-250
Rotary Intermittent Washing Machine For Stand-Alone Applications

RW-250 - Rotary Intermittent Washing Machine For Stand Alone Applications

The RW-250 is a highly efficient, stand-alone rotary intermittent washing machine designed for the cleaning of glass containers, including vials (Type R or H) and bottles. Ideal for laboratories, R&D centers, or clinical plants, the RW-250 performs both internal and external washing and air-blowing, with a capacity of up to 4,200 containers per hour (uph).

This compact solution is engineered for optimal maneuverability and flexibility. It can be equipped with cleanroom-suitable casters for easy relocation within your working area.

RW-250 - Rotary Intermittent Washing Machine For Glass Vials & Bottles

Key Features & Operational Advantages:

  • Needle-less Technology: Eliminates the risk of container breakage common with traditional needle systems.
  • Ideal for Small-Scale Use: Features a low voltage power supply, perfect for laboratory installation or smaller pharmaceutical areas.
  • Low Consumption: Optimized washing circuit for reduced media and utility consumption.
  • Enhanced Monitoring: Includes pressure transmitters on all media inlets and a WFI infeed temperature monitoring probe.
  • Compliance Ready: Available conformity to 21 CFR Part 11 and availability also for a complete Validation Documentation Pack (One FAT, SAT, to accelerate market entry).

RW-250 Features

Integrated Washing and Transport System:

The RW-250 features a robust combined solution that integrates a rotary intermittent transport system including:

  • A central turret moving the container grippers through all stations.
  • Needle-less nozzle manifolds for precision washing.
  • Dedicated WFI washing stations (inside and outside container).
  • Compressed air-blowing circuits to effectively drain residual water.
  • Hard piping circuits (no flexible hoses) and media circuits in rigid piping for reduced contamination risk and high durability.

Flexible Water & Drainage Solutions

The RW-250 can be customized to meet challenging facility requirements:

  • Purified Water Circuit: To minimize operating expenses, the machine can be configured with a pre-washing circuit using Purified Water (PW) or Reverse Osmosis (RO) water, reserving costly WFI for the final rinse only.
  • Dedicated Circuit Skids: For facilities where a WFI point-of-use is unavailable (e.g., in a laboratory), a wheeled skid with a dedicated buffer tank and displacement pump can be supplied. This allows the use of WFI from commercial bags or other facility areas.
  • Remote Drains: A displacement pump can be integrated to facilitate drainage when the desired working area lacks a drain point close to the machine.
