ValueCell FLEXY is the new flexible and multi-tasking isolator for cell & gene therapy.
The configuration has been designed for Cell &Gene Therapy applications requiring high throughput, modularity and expansion capabilities.
We all know, in a Cell&Gene application, the incubation capacity is often the bottleneck being the incubation steps much more time demanding than the processing phases. In lack of additional incubation possibilities, you could run out of your production capacity, definitely compromising your targets, despite you could still have processing space and time.
COMECER can offer you the solution: integrate the system with an interface to connect with FlexyCult, an external incubation system.
The combinations of different modules can be various. In the example shown an isolator with two different processing areas, is sharing a common zone of accessories used for product in and out. In this isolator operators are running different processes in parallel sessions, with coordinated use of the common area and a unique decontamination system. The solution is saving space and the use of two complete solutions.
Basically, all the COMECER isolators can be adapted to be used in the FLEXY configuration. The FLEXY configuration can be obtained by integrating the FLEXY interface (to be used with the FlexyCult incubation system or as a standard RTP with suitable accessories) and the suitable track to allow incubator to slide towards the connection position.
ValueCell FLEXY isolator is specially conceived for use with FlexyCult™, for handling cell cultures in a certified Grade A environment.
The modular cell culture isolator can be connected to FlexyCult™ incubators via sealed RTP connections, allowing the incubators to be opened in
an aseptic environment. Inside the isolator are the standard laboratory instruments for analysing and handling cell cultures: it includes centrifuges, refrigerators, a culture oven, and sampling access.
