Toutes les opérations de lavage sont effectuées dans une boîte à gants à flux d’air turbulent (> 20 pièces par heure). L’opérateur travaille en position debout et est complètement isolé de la substance utilisée pour le lavage. La configuration comprend une chambre de travail de type boîte à gants avec une porte à droite utilisée pour le placement du matériel à laver, une porte à gauche utilisée pour l’extraction du matériel déjà lavé et une trappe circulaire positionnée sur la surface de travail avec un sac à barrière pour le déchargement du matériel.
