Un isolateur en aval est dédié à la dernière partie d’un processus de thérapie cellulaire ou biologique. Bien sûr, il peut y avoir plusieurs options pour interpréter les fonctions de l’isolateur. Fondamentalement, un isolateur en aval permet aux utilisateurs de collecter les produits du processus d’expansion/maturation et éventuellement de les préparer pour la livraison au client final.
Selon la nature du produit à livrer, un isolateur peut comporter une zone de collecte, une zone de remplissage en flacons ou poches pour infusion ou cryoconservation, ou encore une zone de conditionnement si le produit final nécessite cette étape.
