ELENA es un aislador de flujo laminar blindado para la manipulación y calibración de radiofármacos emisores de beta/gamma según las Buenas Prácticas Radiofarmacéuticas para la preparación de radiofármacos en medicina nuclear (preparaciones simples y preparaciones extemporáneas).
La exclusiva caja de manipulación de plástico, ideal para isótopos emisores beta, y los diferentes espesores de blindaje disponibles la hacen adecuada para manipular cualquier tipo de radiofármaco, incluidos los específicos para radioterapia metabólica. ELENA cumple con todos los requisitos de fraccionamiento de calibración y manipulación de los departamentos de Medicina Nuclear.
Está equipado con una cámara de trabajo de flujo laminar y precámaras ventiladas para el tránsito de materiales, para albergar generadores y para confinar residuos.

Esterilidad: el área de trabajo de flujo de aire laminar (Clase A según EEC-cGMP) permite manipular radiofármacos en condiciones absolutamente seguras para el producto. Todos los accesos exteriores están equipados con precámaras herméticas enclavadas (Clase B según EEC-cGMP)
Protección contra la radiación: los blindajes están hechos para garantizar la protección completa del operador
Ergonomía: todos los componentes necesarios para la preparación de la dosis se colocan dentro del rango de acción de las manos del operador
Seguridad: la puerta principal del aislador está equipada con un sistema de bloqueo, controlado por un detector interno de doble sonda G.M.
Gestión de los parámetros críticos: el aislador está equipado con un moderno panel de operador para controlar, ajustar y exportar los parámetros internos de la célula, notificaciones y alarmas
Versatilidad: diferentes separadores de blindaje, hacen que la célula sea versátil y adecuada para diferentes usos. La gran cámara interna y la forma de la superficie de trabajo permiten instalar módulos de síntesis automáticos o fraccionadores para jeringas y viales
