2014: a Year in Review

Looking back over 2014 we realize what a busy year it was for us at Comecer, here are some key events that marked our year.

January: we started with 473 followers to our Linkedin company page, and during the year we have almost doubled this number. We take this to mean that you appreciate the news we publish on this social network. Our facebook page started the year with 42 fans and we finish the year almost tripling this number. Facebook is the platform we use to share photographs from our events around the world.

February: we held a cross-training event at our HQ titled “Welcome Aboard” to help built teamwork and knowledge among the Veenstra Instruments and Comecer staff.

March: our worldwide salesforce traveled to our HQ to take part in our World Sales Meeting. These 67 people attended product updates and planning sessions. Photos from this event are posted in an album on our facebook page.

April: Veenstra Instruments officially changed name to Comecer Netherlands and we migrated the content from the Veenstra website to the main Comecer website. Domenico Sainato continues as the general Manager of the dutch organization.

May: we held an ECM accredited workshop titled “Norms for the correct preparation of radio pharmaceuticals in Nuclear Medicine.” Speakers at the event came from renowned Italian hospitals and Pharmaceutical companies.

June: we attended TERMIS in Genova and made our announcement regarding isolation technology for tissue engineering and regenerative medicine. You can read 10 FAQs on these solutions on our websiste.

July: quite a few new employees joined our company’s: Sales department, Technical Department, R&D Department and Quality Department.

August: the typical summer holiday month in Italy, most of us took time off to spend with our families and friends, relaxing so as to kick-off the last part of the year fully energized.

September: we presented two expertly-built scale models of the Modullar Steriilty Testing Isolator (MSTI) and the MDWI (Modular Dispensing Weighing Isolator) that attracted a lot of attention in the events of the last quarter Here are some photos from one of these events.

October: a large Comecer team made its way to Goteborg, Sweden, for one of our most important events of the year, the EANM. Our two booths were full of products, you can see some of them on the event page, and others on our EANM facebook photo album.

November: we expanded the web content for the 1MP business unit, including a new video to explain how these experts can provide the simplest way to a certified GMP Project.

December: we held an Open Day at our HQ for Isolation Technology products (see photos). This was our final event of the year, a year certainly full of announcements, exhibitions, conferences and meetings with customers old and new.
