Imagine a standalone module that, once prepared, enables automatic dispensing and closing and can be installed inside a Class A containment isolator with laminar flow to replicate sterile liquid production needs on a reduced footprint. The new MODUS LITE is that solution.

Designed for lyo or liquid vials, it is ideal for clinical trials, R&D, ATMP and Cell & Gene production plants, delivering flexible configuration, clean design and in‑line process control.

Filling & Closing Module

The MODUSE LITE module is a standalone unit designed to manage filling and closing operations with semi‑automatic handling and automatic cycles once prepared. It supports liquid filling and lyophilization stoppering, with flexible recipe-based configuration.

Core components and functions include:

Peristaltic pump dosing system
Pneumatic vial transfer grippers
Mechanical alu-seal crimping
Sensor checks for stopper and seal presence on grippers
Load cell for dosing control and push‑fit vertical force monitoring

In‑Line Weighing & Accuracy

MODUS LITE can be configured for gravimetric filling where high precision is required, and integrates 100% weigh check to support batch consistency.

Closure Handling Configuration

The system can be configurated for different closure types, including lyo stoppers, serum stoppers, alu-seals (flip-off/tier-off) and optional push‑fit caps, with support for pre‑stoppered vials.

Integration in an Aseptic Isolator

MODUS LITE is designed to be installed inside a Class A containment isolator with laminar flow, replicating sterile production requirements. A complete Comecer package can include isolator chamber, air filtration/ventilation, and VPHP decontamination systems.
